If you have done backup in iTunes before, now we can recover your lost photo messages from iTunes backup. See below steps.
Launching your iTunes, connect your iPhone with PC. Click iPhone image icon, go to Files--Summary, then you can see all your backup files on the left side bar, click “Restore Backup”, and confirm with “Restore”.
Remark: when restore iPhone files from iTunes backup, we couldn’t restore them selectively, so we’ll have to restore the whole folder.
Recover Photo Messages on iPhone from iCloud
When our iPhone is connected with Wifi, we can also recover photo messages from iCloud backup, but it will need us to erase all content and settings before restoring.
Connect your iPhone with Wifi, go to Setting--General--Erase All Content and Setting, when all content and settings are erased, go to set up assistant with a hello screen.
