Set Auto Delete Messages on iPhone

There is a very convenient way for us to delete text messages on iPhone, we can do it by setting it with auto delete messages with certain days.

Go to Setting--Messages--Message History--Keep Messages, then we can see three options of date to keep your messages, that is 30 days, 1 year and forever. Now you can choose it according to your needs.

If there are too many messages on your iPhone, and you want to delete them quickly, you can choose 30 days. Then confirm with “Delete” button.

Remark: after setting it, it can delete your messages which is more than 30 days every day, but it will also delete some important messages you need when it reaches 30 days.

Delete Messages Manually

In case your iPhone delete some important messages auto, you can set it with “Forever”, and delete the messages one by one manually.

Go to Message App on your iPhone home screen, click “Edit” button at the top of left corner, then choose the messages you need to delete, then tap on “Trash” image icon on the bottom. Then it’ll be ok.
