Ways to Delete Photos in iMessage

Restart iPhone iPad

When you encounter above issue, firstly you need to close your iMessage app, then restart your iPhone or iPad to have a try.

Now press your power button and hold on for about 10 seconds, then it will appear the notification “Slide to Close Your iPhone”, now slide it to right and close it.

After one or two minutes, press your home button and power button together and hold on, until apple logo show up on your iPhone screen.

Now open your message app and delete some photos from it to have a try.

Delete Photos from iMessage App

The photos we attached in our iMessages may from our photo app, so we may don’t want to keep them, also we’ll need to save some storage space of our iPhone, so we’ll need to delete some iMessage photos. Now see below steps.

1.Open your iPhone, go to Message app and open it.

2.Then find the iMessage with photos you need to delete.

3.Open the iMessage, and find “Detail” option at the top right corner.



4.Click “Detail”, and on the new window, you can see “Attachments”, and click it.



5.Now you’ll see the option to copy and delete them, if you only want to delete the iMessage including texts and photos, you can tap on “ Delete” directly. But if you need to delete more photos on iMessage, you can tap on “More”. And select all the photos you need to delete, then click “Delete” icon.

Delete Photos in iMessage Automatically

1.Go to Setting--Message, then find the option “Keep Message”.



2.Tap on it, and it will show us with available options, like 30 days, 1 year, forever.

3.Now you can choose the option according to your needs.
