How to Fix iPhone Keeps Restarting Issue

Why does our iPhone keep restarting, how to fix iPhone keeps restarting issue?



When our iPhone keeps restarting, there are two condition about it. One is that when we’re using our iPhone, it just restart itself suddenly; another one is that our iPhone is just keeps restarting itself and never stop, which makes our iPhone unusable. It’s just so annoying, so we must know something about how to fix iPhone keeps restarting issue, then we can solve this problem. Now we’ll talk about it in this article.

The Reason for iPhone Keeps Restarting

When our iPhone keeps restarting, there are maybe several reasons, like iPhone battery is out of power, iOS hasn’t been updated, other hardware or software issue ect. Now we’ll based on those potential reasons, and find some way to fix it.

Force Restart your iPhone

If you find your iPhone keeps restarting, now you can try to force restart it to have a try, it can help us clean all processes.

Now press your power button and home button together and hold on for about 10 seconds until Apple logo appears on your home screen, then release the button, and it will begin the start up by itself.

Please note, if you’re using an iPhone 7, you’ll need to press and hold on power button and volume button together and hold on, then when Apple logo appears on home screen, release the buttons.

Check your Battery

Or maybe your iPhone battery is out of power, so you’ll need to check the battery power.

If it’s out of power, now charge it with your original USB cable. After charging it for a while when observe your iPhone if it still has restarting issue.

Update iOS and Apps

When your iOS version or apps haven’t been updated for a long time, it may not be compatible with your iPhone very well now.

Go to Setting--Software Update, then update your iOS version when there is new one.

If you need to update your apps, open your Apple store, the one which needs to be updated will be on the upper part, tap on “Update” to update them will be ok.

Check iPhone Setting

When some apps shows several times, you can uninstall it to have a try.

Now go to Setting--Privacy--Scroll Down to Diagnostics & Usage, then click “Diagnostic & Usage Data. Then if it show up some apps for several times, uninstall it to have a try.

Reset your iPhone

It won’t delete any of our apps, but we’ll need to reconnect the Wifi and its password.

Go to Setting--General--Reset--Reset All Settings, then it will help us reset our iPhone to factory defaults.

If it still doesn’t work, you can bring your iPhone to your local Apple store for more professional support.
