Transfer Contacts from old iPhone to iPhone 8

“I ordered an iPhone 8 yeaterdays, and it will be arrived soon. And I’m wondering how to transfer my contacts from old iPhone to my new iPhone 8?”



Big news! iPhone 8 was released yeaterdays, and many people are ordering iPhone 8 now. Even in China, people can get iPhone 8 on September 22th. Transfer Contacts with iCloud

We all know we can restore iCloud backup files to another iOS device, now we can also use this method to transfer our contacts to new iPhone 8.

1.if you have already backup your contacts on iCloud, now you can refer to below steps. If not, now we’ll see how to backup your contacts on iCloud.

Go to Setting--iCloud, log in it with your Apple ID and password. Then turn on iCloud server, and also turn on Contact button. Tap on “Backup”, and confirm with “Backup Now”.

2.when finish backup, log in iCloud on your iPhone 8 with same Apple ID and password.
Then go to Setting--General--Erase All Content and Settings, when all content and settings are erased, go to set up assistant with a hello screen.

3.Swipe to begin the set up progress, choose the files you need, tap on “Restore Backup”, and confirm with “Restore”.



Transfer Contacts with iTunes

We can also use iTunes to help us transfer our contacts to iPhone 8, see below steps.

1.Launching your iTunes, connect your old iPhone with PC. Then tap on “Backup Now” on the right page, and confirm with “Backup”.

2.When finish backup, click iPhone image icon on the top part. And go to Files--Summary, then you can see all your backup files on left side bar.
3.now connect your iPhone 8 with PC, when it’s recognized, click “Restore Backup” on the right page, and confirm with “Restore”.



Transfer Contacts with iRefone
