As we know iPhone X doesn’t have Touch ID, so we couldn’t unlock it as we do on other iPhone, but it supports us do facial recognition. So we can achieve it by enable Face ID on it. Now follow below page and learn how to set up Face ID and how to use it on iPhone X.
Set Up Face ID
When you get an iPhone X, firstly we’ll see how to set up Face ID on it.
1.Now open your iPhone X, and go to Setting--Face ID & Passcode.
2.then input your passcode, and make your face in front of your iPhone X front camera and adjust the distance.
3.Look forward and slowly move your head on circle. When finish face scanning, you can continue the steps with its instruction, and confirm with “Done” when finish it.
4.Now you can lock your iPhone X and unlock it with your Face ID to have a try.
How to Use Face ID
After set up Face ID on your iPhone X, then we’ll see how to use it.
1.Wake your iPhone X by pressing its power button, or if you have turned on “Raise to Wake” feature, you can also raise up your iPhone X to wake it.
2.When your iPhone X is open, swipe up to from the bottom of the screen to unlock it.
3.To unlock it, you’ll need to place your face in the frame just as you set up it. When it’s ok, your iPhone X will be unlocked.
Disable Face ID
Also when you don’t want to use Face ID to unlock your iPhone X any more, you can also disable.
Temporarily disable Face ID:
When you want to temporarily disable Face ID, you can do it by clicking power button five times quickly, then it will enter the power off screen.
Then click “Cancel” button, and it will need us to input passcode to unlock it.
Completely disable Face ID:
1.Now open iPhone X, and go to Setting--Face ID & Passcode.
2.Then find and click “Use Face ID”, and find the option “iPhone Unlock”, turn it off.
