How to backup contacts on your iPhone

“There are many contacts on my iPhone, i want to do some backup, what should i do to backup contacts on iPhone?”

Every month there will be some new contacts added on our iPhone, so when time goes on, there will be hundreds or thousands of them. Then we will think about backup contacts on our iPhone, in case we lost or delete some of them by mistake. Without typing them on PC or writing them on our notes, is there any other ways can help us backup contacts on iPhone?

Backup Contacts on iTunes

If it’s your first time to do backup on iTunes, you’ll need to install the iTunes firstly on your PC.

Then launching your iTunes, connect your iPhone with PC, click iPhone image icon. Go to Files--Summary, click “Backup Now”, then confirm with “Backup”.



Remark: then all our iPhone contacts will be backup on iTunes.

Backup Contacts on iCloud

Connect iPhone with Wifi, go to Setting--iCloud, log in it with your Apple ID and password, then check if the option “Contact” is green or not. If it’s not green, turn it on to green color. Then it’ll do auto backup of our iPhone contacts.

Remark: the storage space of iCloud is limited, when it’s full, it will not help us sync iPhone data any more. Also we could selectively backup iPhone contacts on iCloud.
