The ways to restart your iPad

Restart an iPad

The basic way to restart your iPad is to turn off and turn on your iPad, it won’t delete our iPad data.

1.Pressing the on/off button and Home button at the same time( the on/off button is located on the top right corner of the iPad) and hold on, until a slider appear on the screen.

2.Then release the on/off button and home button. And slide the slider from left to right to turn off your iPad, and you can also tap on “Cancel” if you don’t want to turn off your iPad any more.

3.When your iPad goes dark, it’ll be off. Then hold down the on/off button until Apple icon appears. Then release the on/off button, and your iPad will be on again.

Reset an iPad with iTunes

When you’re locked out of iPad with forgetting your password, you can try to reset your iPad with iTunes to have a try. But it may delete some data.

1.Launching your iTunes, connect your iPad with PC, then click iPad icon on the top corner.

2.Then you’ll see “Restore iPad”, tap on it and confirm with “Restore”.

3.Wait a few minutes for restoring, then swipe to restart your iPad. Tap your language and region options.

4.Tap the wireless network that you need to connect to, sign in Apple ID and password. It can help you restore all your Apps that you have purchased from App store.

Reset iPad with iCloud

If you haven’t done any backup in iTunes, you can also reset your iPad with iCloud. But it needs your iPad connect with Wifi and you have logged in iCloud with your Apple ID and password.

1.Open a web browser on your computer, then go to “Find My iPhone”. Then sign in it with your Apple ID and its password.

2.Now click “All Device” menu, and your iPad in the list of the device.

3.Then click “Erase” button, and confirm with “Erase”. And wait for your iPad reset.

4.When finish the progress, swipe to start setting up the iPad. Tap the language, region, and wireless network.

5.Sign in your Apple ID and password.
