How do I Recover Deleted Digital Photos from iPad


“I took many photos with my iPad, and i thought many of them are just similar to each other, so i deleted some of them. Then i realized that some good ones are deleted as well. What should i do to recover those deleted photos from my iPad?”

To be honest, many people may have the similar problem with their deleted photos. But it’s not a big deal, there are many ways can help us recover our deleted digital photos from iPad. Please check below page and learn more.

Method 1. Recover Deleted Photos from Recent Deleted Folder

As we know we can get back our deleted photos from “Recent Deleted” Photo album, but it’s only suitable for recently deleted photos, which means when your photos are deleted for more than a month, you won’t get them back.

1.Go to Photo, tap on Album.

2.Then find and choose “Recent Deleted” photo album, and you’ll see your deleted photos are in this files.

3. Tap on the photo you need, and click “Restore” option to get them back.

Method 2. Recover Deleted Digital Photos from iTunes Backup

When we have done backup in iTunes, now we can restore our deleted photos from iTunes backup.

1, Launching iTunes, make sure it’s with latest version.

2.Connect your iPad with PC, when it’s recognized, click iPad image icon.

3. Go to Files--Summary, then you’ll see all your backup files in the left side bar.

4.choose the backup files you need, tap on “Restore Backup” on the right page, then confirm with “Restore”. now you’ll have your deleted photos back on your iPad.

Tips: but the one you haven’t done backup won’t be restored.

Method 3. Recover Deleted Digital Photos from iCloud Backup

If you have enabled “My Photo Stream” in iCloud, now you can get back your deleted photos from it. Steps are list below.

1. Go to Photo App--Album--My Photo Stream, then you can also see your deleted photos in it.

If you haven’t enable “My Photo Stream” in your iCloud, you can restore them with normal way.

1, Connect your iPad with Wifi, log in iCloud with your Apple ID and password.

2. go to Setting--General--Erase All Content and Settings, when all content and settings are erased, go to setup assistant with a hello screen.

3.Swipe to begin setup progress, choose “Restore Backup”, and confirm with “Retore”.



By this way, you’ll need to erase all your content and settings, and it doesn’t allow us to do it selectively, so many data in iPad will be overwritten.

Method 4. Recover Deleted Photos on iPad with Third-party Software
