iPhone can be disabled in many ways, when it’s disabled, we couldn’t use it unless we find some way to enable it. If we’re experience this issue in first time, it’ll just freak me out. Because we don’t know what happened, or we’ll need to change a new iPhone. When learning this article, we’ll learn some ways to enable a disabled iPhone and think it’s just a piece of cake.
Enable a disabled iPhone with iTunes
If you have done backup in your iTunes, you can restore your iPhone from iTunes.
Launching your iTunes, connect your iPhone with PC. when it’s recognized, iTunes will auto sync your iPhone and create a new backup. When finish the sync, click “Restore iPhone”.
When iOS Setup Assistant ask you to set up your iPhone, choose “Restore from iTunes Backup”. Then select your iPhone icon and choose the latest backup.
Find My iPhone
If you have enabled “Find My iPhone” in your iCloud, you can use it to erase your iPhone.
Open browser on your PC and navigate to iCloud.com, log in it with your Apple ID and its password. Click “All Device” at the top of your browser window, and select iPhone icon that we need to erase. Then click “Erase iPhone” and its passowrd. Use set up assistant on your iPhone to restore the most recently backup.
Recovery Mode
If you have never synced your iPhone with iTunes, and also didn’t enabled Find My Phone, you will need to set your iPhone to Recovery Mode. Then restore your iPhone as a new device.
Disconnect all the cables from your iPhone, tap on Sleep button and turn off your iPhone. Then press and hold on the Home button, and plug your iPhone with PC, then your iPhone will turn on auto. And still hold on the Home button until you see the iTunes logo on your screen.
If iTunes doesn’t open auto, you can turn on it by your self, then iTunes will let you know it has detect a device in recovery mode. Then click OK and restore your iPhone.
