How to manage your iCloud storage space

We open do backup in iCloud, but when the storage of iCloud is full, it won’t allow us to do any backup. So learn how to manage iCloud storage space is very important.

Apple recommend us to do backup in iCloud, so we’ll backup our important iPhone data, like photos, contacts, notes, messages, WeChat messages ect on iCloud. But the storage of iCloud is limited, if you have many iPhone data need to be stored in iCloud, you’ll need to manage your iCloud storage space.

From this article, we’ll learn two ways to manage your iCloud storage space.

First. Check the storage of your iCloud

Connect your iPhone with Wifi, go to Setting--iCloud--Manage Storage, then check what you have in your iCloud backup, under the backup option, you can turn off the options that you don’t want to backup to save some space.

Or you can check which files are taking more space, and deleted some of them by clicking “Deleted Backup”, then tap on “Turn off or Delete”.

Second. Buy bigger iCloud storage

After viewing the storage of your iCloud, it’s almost full, and you don’t want to deleted any of them. Then you’ll need to buy more iCloud storage.

Connect your iPhone with Wifi, go to Setting--iCloud--manage storage, then you can see the option “Buy more storage”.

The buying will depend on your own needs.
