How to downgrade iOS 10 to iOS 9.3.5

Unsatisfied with iOS 10 and want to downgrade it to iOS 9? This tutorial page will show you how to downgrade iOS 10 to iOS 9.3.5.

Downgrade iOS 10 to iOS 9.3.5

Now we can downgrade iOS 10 to iOS 9.3.5 with your iTunes on PC.

Step 1. Backup your iPhone data, you can use iTunes, iCloud or iRefone for help.

Step 2. Download iOS 9.3.5 IPSW file from Apple support for your iPhone and store it on your PC that you can find it easily.

Step 3. Launching iTunes on your PC, connect your iPhone with PC.

Step 4. Select iPhone icon on your iTunes, then we’ll be in Summary section.
For Mac: click Option + “Restore” button.
For Windows: click Shift + “Restore” button.

Step 5. Go to iOS 9.3.5 IPSW files you have save in your PC, and choose to restore. Then iTunes will notify you that your data will be erased and restore to iOS 9.3.5. It means you’ll lose your iPhone data during downgrade.

You can also upgrade your iPhone to iOS 10 after downgrade to iOS 9.3.5.
